Halloween

Once again we grew our own pumpkin patch...the weather was wacky this year so our pumpkins didn't turn orange like usual...but I have learned from the best carvers-green is better! You will notice how green everything still is and my flowers are still blooming...we picked our pumpkins the day before Halloween...not at all the typical Halloween weather for our area!
Jeff and Joran surveying the patch

Boston carrying the goods to the porch

Annicha found one

Joran not happy about his pumpkin

Maren has one too

Things were a bit chaotic this year from Halloween on but this is what we were able to accomplish...

Our Frankenstein cake for our Halloween treat after dinner

Boston chose to wear his scout uniform I hadn't even sewn on the patches (yes, he got the shirt for his birthday in April-mother of the year award goes to....me!) Joran picked a character from an online game he plays...we just let him go with it...

Annicha was a Victorian vampire...minus the hair...she didn't want her hair done the way I did it for Sierra when she wore this-too many ponytails!

Maren has wanted to be a cat for Halloween since the kitten we have adopted followed Cheyenne home from work this summer...

I was glad they were all so understanding and were just happy with what we were able to do!
