Three Weeks and Counting

Here are two pictures from right after church on Sunday.  We went two weeks without Joran and this week he was able to join us.  It was nice to be all together again!
This is his picture on Monday morning August 6th....notice you can see his entire face...no oxygen! A few hours after this picture they pulled the last chest tube...he has much better movement now and he feels better as well.(The little cone  by his leg-he calls it a grenade- catches the  chest drainage)  He is glad they are gone and he is "free"!
Pet therapy dropped by today...this is Molly.
Joran got to feed her treats...these animals always get him to smile!
He felt pretty good Monday afternoon so we found some more games to play.
He was finding videos with songs for Amanda from music therapy to learn on her guitar.  Joran has been so brave.  Jeff had a conference in Park City that started on Monday morning.  Sunday night was the first time in three weeks he was alone.  Jeff stayed until late and I come early so that he isn't alone too long and hopefully he is alseep most of the time.  This is how it will work on Monday, and Tuesday night as well.  He sleeps with the phone so he can call us if he needs to.
