Christmas Day

Since Christmas was on Sunday this year, our children had a long wait. We have church at 9am so all they could do was open their stockings before church. After our ward, we attended the sacrament meeting of Jeff's ward-he is in the Bishopric of a young single adult ward. When we all got home we were starving so we had our breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls. The kids didn't feel like it was Christmas so they put their pajamas back on to open gifts.
We always start with the youngest opening first...we made it through Maren and Joran before our computer started to ring. It was Dwight and Melanie skyping us from Germany. Our children were so patient while we talked with them. Finally it was time to open...

Connor-he was so jealous of the soft blanket his grandma got me when I was on bed rest we got him one of his own.

Cheyenne-she is pointing to a ctr ring

Sierra-has been asking for the ove glove for years! It can go with her cake pops maker.

Boston mostly got camping equipment for scouts...

Annicha-was thrilled with the DSI, not so much about the books...although she carries them to school every day.

Joran loves his mp3 and DS...

Maren loved everything!

Family games and movies

our cat-Connor threw him in the garbage sack and he stayed there until we took the trash out. I won't say what Jeff's idea was about that-the kids didn't like it one bit!
