Cheyenne gets asked to Homecoming

 One night Cheyenne got a text telling her to check the porch...this is what we found.

 Jeff hauled it up to the bathtub because we didn't know what else to do with it..he said it weighed over 100 lbs.

 Here are the measurements...it was a big block.

 About 18 inches  long and about a  12 inches deep

 Cheyenne started melting the ice with hot water

 and using a hammer

 she was on the phone with the young man that asked her...there was a surprise in the middle that shouldn't get wet

 almost there!

 it's hard to read with the flash...it is a solid chocolate heart that says "homecoming?"
It was a fun evening for all of us!  She of course answered yes...she sent him on a scavenger hunt through his neighborhood.  His mom said it was fun for their family too.
