Soccer, Shopping, Parade, Softball and Potty Training

This is going to be a less visual post...I forgot my camera! I do have a camera phone, but I don't have the SD card in it and since I don't know how to get the pictures off I don't take many...I'll work on that one. (I'm tech impaired...I know, my kids tell me that constantly!)
Anyway, Connor had a soccer tournament in Park City, Utah on Thursday, Friday and playoffs on Saturday. We had a noon game Thursday and then came home because Jeff had a softball game that evening. We had to leave our house by 6:30AM Friday to be in Oakley for the next game. His afternoon game wasn't until 4:30 so we decided to grab some lunch and hit the outlets! We had shopping success...Connor at the bike store and then all of us at Aero, Old Navy and American Eagle... We also ran into a friend that we haven't seen in almost 15 years! They were in our ward when Jeff and I first got married! We loved their family and it was so good to see her again!
Connor's team didn't make the playoffs, so we headed home again. (Yeah!) Connor and another young man on the team were supposed to be in the Roy Days Parade the next morning. We got home late and then had to get up early for the parade.

Jeff had a softball tournament that Saturday that if you win -you keep playing...well, they kept winning...in fact they had to quit because it got dark ( they do get the first seat in the next tournament though)...so we were at the softball park for 6 1/2 hours on Saturday afternoon!

We made it home just in time for the Roy Days fireworks...luckily they are at the park down the street from our house. We even got to sit on our front porch this year because we cut the trees down! Next week we will be off to another tournament for softball, and the next week brings another soccer tournament. We did fit a day at Lagoon in yesterday and hopefully another couple before school starts!

We have also been working with Maren ( not seriously, because we have to much going on to really get the job done). She actually is doing most of it herself...she wanted to eat her popsicle here I promise... for those in my family- Josi, I need the goggles so Maren can wear them! If Josi sends me the picture I will add it so all of you can share the humor of my last statement! Please Josi!
