Master Bath Remodel

Here are the before pictures of our Mater Bathroom...

From the side...this tub wasn't leaking yet...we found out either the contractor or the people we bought the house from had patched a couple holes in the tub and then spray painted it...not cool!
Anyway, it was cracking and there was a spot that moved when you pushed on it...another water mess waiting to happen!

Here is Joran helping ...he was sweeping up all the tile, grout, mortar and wall board Jeff was dropping.

Jeff cutting out a wall...

Because the tub was "damaged" we decided to not replace it...the bathroom door wasn't up to code (it was too narrow) so there was no way to put a new tub in the bathroom anyway. You might be wondering how we got the other one out...Jeff sawed it into thirds! As you can see from the picture...it's a good thing we pulled the tub...it was leaking and so once again, Jeff had to tear out the sub floor and all the gross insulation...but this is what we are left with now.....a beautiful walk in shower...

We have now ordered the glass doors for the shower. It will have a pattern called "rain" if any of you are familiar with it.
It's been a long road, but we are almost done and it will be nice to enjoy...just a side note on this day. Jeff did the demo in the morning and his cousin came to do the installation around 12:30 pm. While this was going on, the new furniture we bought 6 weeks ago showed up for the master bedroom...it was a mad house!
